YOUR ACCOUNT

Opening your Free Account

At Interiors – a room at a time, we bring sellers and buyers of used vintage home furnishings together. Therefore, both sellers and buyers can open a Free Account with us and become members of our marketplace. To open a new account, follow this link or click on REGISTER.

 

You will be taken to a page that includes both options to login and register for a new account. Complete the requested fields to create your new account (username, e-mail address and password). Then, indicate if you are opening an account as a customer or as a seller and, finally, click on the REGISTER button.

If you open a customer/buyer account, the above described process will be enough to complete the registration. After that, if you are going to actually buy a product of our catalog, you will have to provide both your billing and shipping addresses.

If you open a seller account, you will be requested to complete a few more fields, such as first name, last name, shop name, shop URL, address, phone number and acceptance of our Terms & Conditions) and then click on the REGISTER button.

By doing so, an email will be sent to the marketplace manager who will review your application as a seller. The manager will decide whether to accept or not you as a seller.

Login into your Account

To login into your, follow this link or click on Register link located in the main header of this website. You will be taken to a page that includes both options to login and register for a new account. Complete the requested fields of the login section (username or e-mail address and password) and, then, click on the LOGIN button.

 

 

If you have forgotten or lost your password, click on the Lost your password? link and follow the instructions.

Retrieving your Password

If you have forgotten or lost your password, follow this link or click on Register link located in the main header of this website. You will be taken to a page that includes both options to login and register for a new account. Under the login section you will find the link Lost your password?. Click on it. You will get to the RESET PASSWORD page. In the indicated field, enter your username or email address used when you registered on this website and click on RESET PASSWORD.

 

You will receive an e-mail with a link that will enable you to create a new password to login again into your account.

Setting up your Billing and Shipping Addresses

In order to buy products of our catalog, as a buyer, you need to set-up both your billing and shipping addresses.

To do so, you have to login into your account and, then, within your Dashboard, you have to click on Addresses. There, you will have the chance to insert your addresses by clicking on the Edit buttons. On each case, your information will be stored once you click on SAVE ADDRESS.

 

What Account Details can be edited/updated?

At anytime, you will be able to change the following account information: first name, last name, e-mail address and password. Your username cannot be changed.

In order to change any of the above mentioned account details, you have to login into your account and, then, within your Dashboard, you have to click on Account Details. There, you will have the chance to edit your first name, last name, e-mail address and password. To have your new details stored under your Dashboard, click on SAVE CHANGES.

 

Can I Buy and Sell with my Same Account

Yes, you can. At Interiors – a room at a time, you can buy and sell used vintage home furnishings with one single account.

If you initially registered as a customer (thus only enabled to buy products of our catalog), you will be required to Become a Seller. In order to do so, once logged into your account, within your Dashboard, you have to click on the Become a Seller button. You will be taken to a new page that will request you to provide some additional details (such as first name, last name, shop name, shop URL, address, phone number and acceptance of our Terms & Conditions) and then click on the BECOME A SELLER button. By doing so, an email will be sent to the marketplace manager who will review your application as a seller. The manager will decide whether to accept or not you as a seller. An email will be sent to your e-mail address indicating the Manager’s decision.

 

 

If you initially registered as a seller, you will be able to buy a product of our catalog without any additional registration process.

Logout from your Account

At anytime, you will be able to log out from your account. In order to do so, once logged into your account, within your Dashboard, you have to click on Logout. You will be logged out and taken back to the homepage of Interior – a room at a time.

 

Closing your Free Account

If for whatever reason you decide to close your account with us, please, do send us an email at customersupport(at)interiorsaroom.com. Tell us your username and the email address you used when registered on our website. Also, we would appreciate if you could tell us why you decided so.

We will review your profile information. If we consider you have no pending issues with any members of our community or with us, we will delete your account from our databases with no further questions and will inform you once your data has been completely deleted. If, otherwise, we find pending issues to be resolved before deleting your account, we will get in touch with you via email and inform what actions you should take before we erase your information.
